The general conditions of contract are set out as follows
They regulate the legal relation between you and the Swiss Ski + Snowboard School Klosters (SSSK).
Booking /
Closure of Contract
The contract between you and SSSK is agreed on with the unconditional acceptance of your booking. From this time on the rights and obligations as stipulated in the contract (including the general conditions of contract) become effective for you and the SSSK.
If the person making the booking registers additional clients this person accounts for the contractual obligations of those clients (in particular payment) as well as his/her own obligations.
The contract agreements and the general conditions of contract apply to all clients of SSSK.
Services and Prices
Our services are set out in detail in the brochure. Special requests on your part or subsidiary agreements require the Head Office’s consent.
The instruction prices are given in the brochure. Prices apply per person where nothing else is mentioned. Basic prices are given in CHF. The conversion rate in Euros is defined by the SSSK according to the current exchange rate.
The SSSK specifically reserves the right to change information, service descriptions, prices in the brochures and price lists before your booking. Should this be the case you will be informed by the SSSK before signing the contract.
The same rates apply to instruction and supervision/ guiding.
Payment
Payment results immediately after conclusion of contract or if the booking is made by telephone directly before the commencement of the ski instruction. We accept cash in CHF and EURO as well as payment by ec-direct, Postcard, Eurocard, VISA und Amexco.
Annulment conditions
All annulments are to be carried out via the SSSK Head Office. In the case of annulment after payment respectively after confirmation of reservation the following costs of annulment apply: Up to and including 30 days before the beginning of the course 10%, from the 29th day up to and including the 10th day before the course 50%, from the 9th day up to and including the 2nd day before the course (18 pm) 80%. For annulments, that are made at a later time we are unfortunately obliged to charge the full amount. Instruction takes place whatever the weather.
Reimbursement
In the case of accident or illness, unused course days will be refunded on presentation of a medical certificate that has to be issued by a practising doctor or hospital in the region. Restrictions caused by meteorological conditions, early departure, bad weather, danger of avalanches etc. do not authorize reimbursement or any kind of compensation. If a course or lesson cannot take place due to interruption of mountain transport services the lesson will be credited. In the case of accident or illness, unused course days will be refunded on presentation of a medical certificate.
Liability
SSSK refuses all liability for accidents that occur during lessons or one of the SSSK’s events. Accident and liability insurances lie within the participant’s responsibility. SSSK also recommends organising annulment insurance, travel accident and travel sickness insurances.
Group Courses
With fewer than 4 participants the SSSK reserves the right to group classes together, cancel courses at short notice or to propose a substitution (with a supplement).
Voucher
The booking is binding as soon as the course payment has reached our account.
Course Passes
All passes are valid only on the given dates. All course passes are personal and not transferable.
Reduced rates for additional group course days or substitution in the case of course pass loss: This only on presentation of your receipt.
Applicable Law and Place of Jurisdiction
Swiss law exclusively is applicable. Place of jurisdiction is Klosters.
