Snow sports with a handicap

Our individual ski lessons for people with disabilities offer a safe and tailored experience for standing skiing. Under the guidance of an experienced disabled snow sports instructor, participants learn at their own pace, using specially adapted methods and aids. Safety and individual support are always the focus. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced skier, we enable everyone to enjoy skiing in an inclusive and supportive environment and to make progress.

We offer adults with disabilities a 10% discount on private lessons.

The snow sports school offers lessons for people with disabilities in the following disciplines.

Alpine skiing/snowboarding with cognitive impairment

  • Intellectual disability
  • Trisomy 21
  • Autism

Alpine skiing/snowboarding with physical disability

  • Amputations with and without devices and aids
  • Hemiplegia
  • Visual impairment

The Klosters Ski and Snowboard School has set itself the goal of teaching children and young people with and without disabilities to enjoy snow sports. An additional experienced snow sports instructor is available for children with special needs. Ideally, the child will take part in group lessons, but individual lessons can also be arranged if necessary.

There are no additional costs for parents. The regular group rate applies. The additional costs are covered by donations.

Ski lessons for children and young people with special needs

We offer four half-day ski lessons for people with disabilities. Our experienced snow sports instructors with specialised training teach the lessons safely, individually and tailored to the needs of the children and young people. Whether you are a beginner or want to refine your technique, everyone is welcome and will be taught at their own level.

The course takes place on Sundays and builds on itself week by week.

No entitlement to full-week support; if participants can be integrated into the group, the additional teaching staff is not required.
An expert opinion from a specialist or specialist agency may be required to prove the impairment.
No entitlement to implementation.
